About Us

EonEntertainment started in 2010 with a straightforward mission: smooth the transition to digital cinema for filmmakers and content creators. We built our reputation on affordable, reliable DCP conversion for independent filmmakers, film festivals, and distributors, and grew into a trusted partner for MGM, IFC, Yash Raj Films, Entertainment One, Phase 4 Films, Regal Cinemas, AMC, and Alamo Drafthouse. Today we convert and place thousands of DCPs a year.

In 2020, with theatres shuttered, we did what we serve do best: we improvised. We brought 3D design and printing in-house and put it to work producing PPE for hospital workers. It kept our doors open, and it taught us something we hadn’t expected. The same obsession with precision that produces a flawless DCP also produces a flawless physical object.

When theatres reopened, we kept the capability. It has since become a vital tool for everything we build.

We produce short-run collectables for titles including Ghostbusters, One Piece, Iron Lung, Backrooms, and Coyote vs. Acme, putting a piece of the film directly into a fan’s hands.

And we partner with studios on large-scale interactive experiences: a life-sized animatronic Toothless for How to Train Your Dragon, a ride-on Lightcycle for Tron: Ares, a Borderlands tactical vehicle that drove across the country, and a 40×30-foot walk-through Castle Grayskull for Masters of the Universe. These installations meet audiences where they already gather, at ComicCon, MomoCon, and fandom events nationwide.

For more than fifteen years we have worked in the space between art and engineering, and the mission has never changed: engineer engaging cinematic experiences for everyone.
